Expand, LLC Privacy Policy - Last Revised and Updated as of May 2023

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the privacy practices and procedures used by Expand, LLC (“Expand”) when you interact with Expand’s website of https://www.expandshare.com/ and Expand’s service and technology (the “Services”).

Expand has created this Policy to demonstrate Expand’s commitment to the privacy of Expand’s visitors and customers.

Expand is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of information you share with Expand.

The purpose of this Policy is to inform you when you visit or use the Services how Expand uses such information, and the choices you have regarding Expand’s use of, and your ability to review and correct, your information.

Generally

In general, you may use certain features of the Services (such as just the website) without telling Expand who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Expand may track the Internet domain address from which people visit the Services and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous unless they voluntarily tell us who they are. Additionally, Expand will not use data submitted by you via Expand’s application programing interface to train or improve any Expand artificial intelligence models.

Types of Technology Used to Automatically Collect Data

The Services may use various technologies to automatically collect information, including:

·       Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in your device memory that help Expand to improve the Services and your experience, assess which areas and features of the Services are popular, and count visits. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of the Services. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, the Services may issue cookies when you access the Services.

·       Web beacons (also known as tracking pixels, clear gifs, and pixel tags) are electronic images that may be used in the Services or emails to track visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, and produces other statistics.

Sharing Information

Expand will share your information with Expand’s partners and with third-party independent contractors for purposes of: (1) performing functions on behalf of Expand, such as processing credit card transactions; (2) providing you with product offers via e-mail or postal mail; and (3) tracking information generated through the Services. In addition, the people that you provide access to your will see and have available the content that you have posted.

Security

The Services have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the data under our control. All credit card information uses Transport Layer Security/Secure Socket Layer encryption technology and is Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) compliant. Expand also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Services in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, Expand provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.

Despite Expand’s efforts and due to the nature of the Internet, Expand cannot guarantee the security of your information. Expand strongly encourages you to use the Services with secure browsers, servers, and devices. Expand expressly disclaims any definitive promise as to any level of security with the Services.

How Long Information is Stored

Expand will store your information for as long as is required:

·       For Expand to comply with its legal obligations or assert or defend against legal claims

You have the right to access the personal information Expand holds about you. You may access your personal information that Expand holds by contacting the data controller listed below. Third-Party Hosting

Expand contracts with a third party to maintain and host certain aspects of the Services, such as the website. Therefore, any information you submit, including personal information, will be placed and stored on a computer server maintained by this third-party host. The third party has agreed to implement technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorized access or improper use.

Links to Other Materials 

The Services may contain links to other sites. These links are an accommodation to the respective third-party site owners and for your convenience. Sites linked to and from the Services are not necessarily under the control of Expand, and Expand shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the content or privacy practices of any linked sites, or any link or linking program at any time. 

Children’s Privacy

Expand does not sell products or services for purchase by children under the age of eighteen (18). Expand only offers products and services for purchase by adults. Expand does not knowingly collect personal information from children under eighteen (18). No one under age eighteen (18) may provide any personal information to the Services, including to register or make any purchase. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), you may only use or access the Services with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or school system.
